This Women’s History Month poster was created for CCSF with the theme of ‘Calling All Unruly Witnesses’.  The theme is inspired by June Jordan’s This Unruly Witness. To represent her work, as well as intersectional feminism, I chose the gladiolus flower, a symbol of strength and moral integrity as the centerpiece and incorporated fire within the blooms.  My goal was to represent resilience, moral imperative, and the unstoppable energy of those who challenge the status quo. 🔥
