Forum is a literary magazine of City College of San Francisco, giving voice to the talented authors, poets, and visual artists of the CCSF community. For the cover, I wanted to create something that felt bold, edgy, and poetic to support the works inside. 

In the main text of the publication, I prioritized readability and expression. To achieve this, I chose two humanist typefaces, New Spirit & Alegreya Sans. New Spirit has gentle curves and subtle quirks, but still offers a contemporary feel while also feeling warm an approachable. Alegreya, a typeface designed specifically for literature, has great balance and legibility in long-form text. I chose to keep a good amount of negative space throughout in order to let the works shine for themselves. This publication is currently in production and will be coming out
later in 2026!
